Job Description - Quantitative Research Lead, Construction & Platform

Job Requisition ID #

26WD98230

Position Overview

In Autodesk AEC Construction, our mission is to help teams meet the world’s rapidly expanding building and infrastructure needs while making construction more predictable, safe, and sustainable. Reporting to the Director, AEC, AI Research, User Success, the Principal User Researcher, Quantitative Research, plays a key role in helping the organization understand and improve user and product experience through rigorous quantitative research and measurement. This role leads large-scale benchmarking and sentiment measurement efforts, enabling teams to make more informed product and business decisions grounded in user evidence.

This role exists to strengthen how user experience is measured across products and workflows. By leading large-scale user sentiment benchmarking surveys across key product experiences, the Principal Quantitative Researcher helps create more reliable, actionable, and trusted insights across the organization.

  • Influence stakeholders at all levels by translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives tied to business impact

  • Contribute to scalable research and measurement systems that can be adopted across multiple teams and domains

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation (e.g., survey analysis, text analytics, insight generation) to increase speed and scale

  • Establish repeatable processes, standards, and tooling that improve efficiency and consistency

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in quantitative UX research, survey science, or a related field

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing quantitative research that informs product or business decisions
