Quotations Specialist

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Quotations Specialist to join the Electrical Infrastructure Division in Mississauga, ON. As a Quotations Specialist you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate quotes based on tender documents and drawings, collaborating with senior team members to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy. This role involves staying current with industry trends, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting the development of internal tools to manage sales opportunities.  

What Will You Do?

• Quote Preparation: Prepare quotes based on tender documents and drawings.  
• Relationship Building: Collaborate with senior team members to build and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, and consultants.  
• Brand Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.  
• Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to the sales team.  
• Sales Opportunities: Seek out and follow up on new sales opportunities.  
• Internal Tools Development: Support the development of internal tools, including CRM, to track current opportunities.  

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  
• Past work experience in quotations or a similar role.  
• Proficient in sales CRM for opportunity management.  
• Experience with research using data analytics software.  
• Proficient writing, communication, and presentation skills.  
• Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.  

Highly Preferred:  

• Knowledge of Pipe Drive CRM software.  
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Previous experience in the electrical industry, in an inside sales or quotations position.  
• Familiarity with electrical power distribution equipment and related infrastructure.  
• 3-5 years of experience.
