Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Recruitment Specialist has strong focus in the areas of recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, change and offboarding, to ensure a customer service-centered experience for our employees. The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for developing proactive recruitment and outreach strategies and will collaborate with hiring managers to lead and facilitate full cycle recruitment activities to meet County of Wellington priorities, while ensuring that processes and practices adhere to employment legislation, all applicable policies, and collective agreement. This position will lead various recruitment initiatives including, representing the County at career fairs, development of internal and external recruitment outreach events, as well as establishing relationships with colleges, universities and other organizations.

Pay Range: $84,229.60 - $98,553.00 (2026 Non-Union Compensation Grid)
Benefits: Extended Health Care, Emergency Travel Assistance, Dental Care; mandatory enrolment, premiums 100% covered.
Pension: As a non-full-time (NFT) employee of an OMERS employer, you are eligible to elect to join the OMERS Pension Plan at any time. Enrollment in OMERS is voluntary.
Medical Responsibility Time: Prorated and accrues at 1 day/month.
Vacation: Accrues to start at three weeks/annum; increases based on length of service.
Mileage: If applicable, as per CRA allowances.
