DESCRIPTION:
The Referral Coordinator is a member of an 11-person team with the primary responsibility of maintaining an integrated referral and appointment system for patients from the Weeneebayko Area. This involves receiving, prioritizing and forwarding referrals as well as coordinating, cancelling and rebooking appointments. The Referral Coordinator is also involved in the coordination of transportation on the Weeneebayko Charter and administrative duties related to med-evacs, ground transportation and escorts.
The Referral Coordinator fulfills her/his responsibilities in a manner, which reflects in the mission and values of Hotel Dieu and respects the culture of Mushkegowuk people.
