Job Description - Regional Coordinators

Regional Coordinators are the outreaching arms of CAP. They contribute a large portion to the success of the program as they provide the opportunities for the program to flourish through the presentations they book with the high schools. CAP relies on its RC’s to obtain as many bookings as they can so that presentations can be made and CAP’s purpose is fulfilled. Each region will require one coordinator with the exception of larger school districts like Vancouver.

Time Commitment


Sept-Dec: 6-10 hours/week (Time spent will be dependent on which region you are assigned to)


Dec-Apr: 10 hours/month (Additional time may occasionally be required during November and February for events)


Term of Employment

Sept 4th, 2026 – March 30th, 2027

Main Responsibilities




  • Email high schools professionally to book presentations. 




  • Follow-up phone calls with high schools




  • Ensure all necessary resources (projector, USB, laptop, etc.) are provided to Ambassadors on the day of presentations




  • Manage a team of Ambassadors and coordinate presentations




  • Ensure that all presentations have Ambassadors signed up.




  • Check in with Ambassadors prior to presentations.




  • Build relationships with selected schools in order to increase awareness of the program 




  • Participate in hiring and training of presenters 




  • Host drop in presentation coaching hours




Qualifications




  • Well-spoken, enthusiastic and professional




  • Strong interpersonal skills




  • Desire to educate and inspire high school students about Sauder




  • Knowledge of the many opportunities available to student and different aspects of the Sauder School of Business 




  • Pleasant phone demeanour and email etiquette 




  • Ability to conduct Q&A sessions

    • Why do you want to be involved in the CAP? 




    • What would you bring to the program? 






  • As part of your application, please include in your cover letter a mock response to a teacher asking: “when is our scheduled presentation ”. You may create any date, or presentation time(s). The goal of this exercise is to demonstrate your email etiquette, including tone, clarity, and structure.
