Your Role

As a Registered Nurse at Frederic House, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents with complex health and social needs. The role combines strong clinical capability with empathy, resilience and sound judgement. You will play a key role in supporting residents to stabilise, maintain their health and engage with broader care and community supports.

Your Responsibility

 



  • Provide safe, effective and person-centred nursing care

  • Assess, plan and evaluate care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team

  • Support residents experiencing mental health and behavioural challenges

  • Administer and manage medications in line with clinical standards

  • Monitor health outcomes and maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Work closely with GPs, pharmacists and external health providers

  • Contribute to a safe environment through strong clinical governance and risk management

You Will Need

 



  • Registered Nurse with current registration through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Strong clinical knowledge, including aged care and complex health conditions

  • Understanding of mental health, substance dependence and homelessness

  • Clear, confident communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

  • Commitment to respectful, person-centred care

  • Comfortable using clinical systems and digital tools
