Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Reporting to the Manager, Health Services, the incumbent will conduct treatment services for youth who are struggling with substance use and addiction concerns. The position requires a commitment to a client-centred philosophy and approach to the development, provision, and support of Shared Health programs and services. The focus is to provide intake and assessment, counselling, referrals, case management, educational sessions, development of treatment plans and continuing care services for concerns related to the effects of addiction, alcohol and drug use. The youth community-based services are situated within a variety of locations such as Access Centres, Youth Hubs, probation offices and StreetReach services.
This maternity/parental term may expire sooner than the date indicated subject to a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
