This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer to shape modern infrastructure within a global, multi-cloud environment.
You’ll design highly available, containerized platforms that enable engineering teams to build and deliver software at scale.
The role combines infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and cloud engineering with emerging AI capabilities.
You’ll have significant ownership over infrastructure reliability, operational efficiency, deployment velocity, and developer experience.

Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles and modern automation practices.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications and highly available Kubernetes environments, with a particular focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to enable reliable and efficient deployments.
- Automate infrastructure and IT operations to reduce manual effort, improve system reliability, strengthen security, and enhance the overall developer experience.
- Explore and integrate AI-powered tools and capabilities to improve operational efficiency, security, monitoring, maintenance, and predictive capabilities.
- Establish and improve infrastructure standards, engineering practices, and technical roadmaps across a distributed, multi-region environment.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize the performance and reliability of high-traffic Linux-based services.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to translate infrastructure needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to observability practices covering logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting to improve visibility into production systems.
- Take ownership of technical initiatives from conception through implementation while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience in DevOps, Developer Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related infrastructure engineering discipline.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes and containerization technologies, ideally including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and hands-on experience with tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Solid experience working with one or more major cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Ability to write high-quality, production-ready code in Python, Golang, or similar languages for automation and service development.
- Experience with modern observability practices, including centralized logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting; familiarity with tools such as Elastic Stack and Prometheus/Grafana is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance-optimization skills in complex, high-volume Linux production environments.
- Experience with cloud-native services and infrastructure automation for SQL and/or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
- Experience developing or integrating AI/ML tooling is a plus.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to define and execute technical roadmaps and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed, multi-region teams.
- Professional proficiency in English is required for regular written and verbal communication with globally distributed colleagues and partners.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain hands-on while contributing to broader technical strategy.

- Annual gross base salary of approximately CAD 103,000–CAD 140,000, with the final offer determined by factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, professional background, and skills.
