What you’ll do 

As a Roll-Off Driver, you’ll be out on the road supporting our customers and recovery operations. Your day-to-day: 

• 
  

  Drive company equipment to customer locations to pick up recyclable materials. 

  
  

• 
  

  Come to work well rested and mentally and physically prepared for your day’s duties. 

  
  

• 
  

  Complete pre-trip truck inspections and circle checks using the required inspection sheet. 

  
  

• 
  

  Immediately report equipment or workmanship defects that may affect the safe operation of your vehicle. 

  
  

• 
  

  Report any damage involving the vehicle, its contents, or the property of others when company equipment is involved. 

  
  

• 
  

  Represent Cascades professionally by maintaining a neat appearance and being courteous to customers. 

  
  

• 
  

  Maintain a strong sense of awareness while operating company equipment. 

  
  

• 
  

  Follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures. 

  
  

Your strengths as a Roll-Off Driver: 

You are a natural fit for this role if you have: 

• 
  

  Minimum of 1-3 years of roll-off driving experience. 

  
  

• 
  

  A minimum valid Class 3Q driver’s license with air brake endorsement. 

  
  

• 
  

  The ability to operate automatic equipment. 

  
  

• 
  

  Availability for a schedule of five 8+ hour shifts per week, with start times generally between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.; start times may vary based on operational needs and candidate preference. 

  
  

• 
  

  Openness to working overtime hours. 

  
  

• 
  

  The ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions.
