At TELUS, we're looking for a seasoned IoT solution seller who doesn't just understand the technology — they speak it, sell it, and architect it alongside their clients. If you're energized by solving real-world operational challenges through cutting-edge connectivity, data intelligence, and AI-powered platforms, this role was built for you. 


 


As a Sales Specialist, drive significant revenue growth across TELUS Business's IoT portfolio within Enterprise and Public sectors in Quebec. This consultative, complex sales role demands deep technical fluency paired with business acumen to translate expertise into compelling, ROI-driven business cases for C-suite and technical stakeholders.


 


Lead the full sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and closure—positioning TELUS's differentiated IoT ecosystem as the strategic backbone of clients' digital transformation initiatives. This is solution-focused, not transactional; success requires both technical depth and the ability to communicate complex value propositions to senior decision-makers.

  • IoT Connectivity – Leveraging TELUS's exclusive, purpose-built IoT network to connect devices, assets, and infrastructure at scale




  • Fleet Management – End-to-end telematics and fleet intelligence solutions that drive operational efficiency, safety, and cost reduction




  • Connected Worker SaaS – Cloud-based platforms that digitize frontline workforce operations, enabling real-time communication, safety monitoring, and productivity gains




  • AI & Data Integration – Serving as a consultative overlay across the IoT solution stack, helping clients unlock predictive insights, automation, and intelligent decision-making from their connected ecosystems




  

Qualifications

 




  • Technical Solution Architecture & Consulting Design customized IoT strategies integrating connectivity, SaaS, and AI/analytics. Lead technical workshops, map environments, quantify value, and translate architectures into compelling business cases.




  • AI & Data Intelligence Position AI and data as strategic differentiators for predictive maintenance, operational automation, and real-time analytics. Articulate how TELUS's ecosystem enables intelligent infrastructure.




  • Portfolio Expertise Serve as SME across TELUS's IoT portfolio (connectivity, telematics, connected worker SaaS, AI-integrated data). Communicate technical value to all buyer levels. Stay current with emerging standards (LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G).




  • Sales & Relationship Leadership Lead full sales cycles—discovery through closure. Partner with Account Managers on territory planning and pipeline management. Build trusted advisor relationships at operational and executive levels 




 


What Makes You Ideal


 




  • Technical & Selling Expertise 5+ years of complex B2B technology/telecom sales with deep IoT knowledge (connectivity, telematics, SaaS, IP networks, edge computing). Whiteboard solutions, quantify ROI, manage multi-stakeholder cycles.




  • Market Knowledge Enterprise/public sector procurement expertise. Thought leadership on IoT, AI, and connected operations.




  • Qualifications Salesforce proficiency. Sales certifications (TAS, CPSA) and/or technical/business degree.




  • Bilingualism (English/French) is mandatory.
