The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer to join our team and help implement the latest SAP technology. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, and be willing to work collaboratively to develop and deliver quality solutions.

Please note: We are looking for candidates with strong, hands-on experience and knowledge in ABAP and CAP development, not just conceptual or high-level familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop in integration context new and maintain existing technical solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). 


• Create and execute unit tests.


• Develop and troubleshoot user interfaces in HTML, JavaScript, and SAP UI5.


• Monitor and optimize the application performance.


• Responsible for the lifecycle management of the application.


• Liaise with stakeholders to identify requirements, resolve any issues, and provide technical training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• 7+ years of experience in development.


• Proven experience in developing solutions using ABAP for SAP systems and CAP for cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.


• Good experience with Java, Node.js and Python.


• 2+ years of experience in developing, testing, and deploying solutions with the SAP BTP.


• Familiarity with SAP Cloud, HANA, and other SAP cloud platforms.


• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and JavaScript.


• Proven experience in developing solutions using Python, AI, and Generative AI.
  


• Proven experience in writing code and technical documentation.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. 


• Knowing French is considered an asset.

Exigences

• Baccalauréat en technologie de l’information, informatique, ou un domaine connexe;


• Plus de 7 ans d’expérience en développement;


• Expérience significative dans le développement de solutions utilisant ABAP pour les systèmes SAP et CAP pour des applications cloud natives sur SAP BTP.


• Bonne expérience avec Java, Node.js et Python;


• Plus de 2 ans d’expérience dans le développement, le test et le déploiement de solutions avec BTP SAP;


• Familiarité avec SAP Cloud, HANA et d’autres plates-formes cloud SAP;


• Connaissance du HTML, du XML et du JavaScript;


• Expérience significative dans la rédaction de codes et de documentation technique;


• Expérience significative dans le développement de solutions utilisant Python et l'IA générative; Capacité de travailler à la fois de manière indépendante et en équipe;


• Excellentes compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes;


• Excellentes compétences de communication en anglais, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral;


• Connaître le français est considéré comme un atout important.
