Security Guard/Security Supervisor Walk in Interviews

Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards and Security Supervisors to join our team for data centre construction.

This posting is for multiple vacancies as we are holding walk in interviews for Construction Security with these positions starting on Oct 15, 2026. Candidates must have physical copies of their resume. Please be prepared to provide your security licence and first aid upon request.

Time: 10:00AM-2:00PM

What You Will Do: 

Pay rate for this long-term temporary position is $20.00 per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property
• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections
• Enforce client and site-specific security policies
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Contact emergency services when required
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

What We Need from You: 

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work inside and outside in cold and warm conditions. 
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong observation and attention to detail
• Ability to complete written reports accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
• Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G2 or G licence.

Construction Site Security

• Perimeter and site patrols
• Access control for workers, contractors, and visitors
• Monitoring equipment and materials
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic. 
• Trespasser deterrence including gatehouse duties.
• Days, Afternoons, Overnight and part-time weekend security coverage
• Incident prevention and reporting
