Senior Manager – Manufacturing Engineering

Overview

A growing clean-tech electronics company is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineering leader to own outsourced manufacturing quality, supplier execution, and engineering change control for their smart hardware products.

This role sits at the center of engineering, suppliers, and production — ensuring products are built correctly, consistently, and at scale.

• Lead supplier manufacturing quality and process control across contract manufacturers
  


• Own ECO/ECN execution, BOM accuracy, and engineering revision control
  


• Manage product data and releases through PLM systems
  


• Qualify and improve supplier manufacturing processes (PCB, plastics, metal fabrication)
  


• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and yield improvement initiatives
  


• Support NPI, production ramp-up, and ongoing manufacturing performance
  


• Act as escalation point for supplier quality and production issues
  

• 5+ years in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing
  


• Strong background in quality engineering or process engineering
  


• Hands-on experience with supplier manufacturing environments
  


• Exposure to 2+ of the following:
  




• PCB assembly / electronics manufacturing
  


• Plastic injection molding
  


• Metal fabrication
  




• Experience with ECOs, ECNs, BOMs, and revision control
  


• Experience using PLM systems (ERP exposure an asset)
  

• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
  


• High-mix, low-volume manufacturing background
  


• NPI / product ramp-up experience
