Make an impact with our Valuations team as a Senior Manager/ Manager in the Winnipeg, Office. This diverse team of professionals assists clients with a broad range of business planning and dispute related matters by applying recognized valuation methodologies to develop independent financial conclusions. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide independent and reliable business valuations that empower clients to advance their strategic goals and make value-driven business decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities
Lead business valuations and litigation support engagements, including business interruption claims, damage quantifications and financial modelling.
Help clients understand the value of their business and its components by providing independent, reliable valuation advice.
Lead interactions with client management, stakeholders, legal counsel, and financial advisors.
Lead industry and market research, including trends, valuation multiples for relevant public companies, and precedent transactions.
Prepare and review cash flows, valuation models, technical analyses, projections, and forecasts.
Design and develop high-quality deliverables, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Manage engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials, including budgets, work-in-progress, timely billing, collections, and variance recognition.
Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients while ensuring client needs are met and relationships continue to grow.
Maintain strong quality control by applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address client-specific issues and key business risks.
Stay up to date on market trends and current valuation issues to assess and improve current approaches.
Build relationships in the local business community, identify business development opportunities, and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals.
Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses, and industry.
Mentor, motivate, and coach team members by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional and personal development.
Contribute to strategic and operational planning for client and practice management, including the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
Maintain flexibility to travel, as required.
Skills and Experience
CPA and CBV designations.
4-9 years of professional services experience, primarily in financial analysis and valuations.
Strong business and practice development skills.
Proven leadership, people management, relationship-building, and team development skills.
Strong strategic planning, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
