Senior Naval Architect Engineer

• Analyze engineering changes across naval ships, systems, and equipment—including structures, materials, welding, coatings and preservation, shock and vibration, damage control systems, and piping
• Lead or support technical investigations and engineering studies to assess performance, reliability, and compliance
• Provide expert input to engineering specifications, design documentation, and technical drawings
• Review, update, and maintain technical documentation for naval systems and equipment to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture Engineering
   

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in shipbuilding, shipyard operations, or marine engineering
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and/or 2D drafting tools
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation through your local provincial or territorial engineering regulatory body
