Description
  • ServiceNow ITOM suite: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB.
  • CMDB/CSDM design, CI relationships, reconciliation, normalization, lifecycle, governance.
  • JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer; MID Server configuration/troubleshooting.
  • Integrations: REST/SOAP/APIs; cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP; enterprise tool integrations.

About the Team & Impact

You’ll support ServiceNow work, focusing on IT Operations Management and CMDB health for an enterprise environment. The role drives reliable discovery, accurate CI relationships, and robust integrations that enable event management and service mapping at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ITOM Discovery across hybrid environments to improve CI coverage and accuracy.
  • Design and govern CMDB/CSDM models to enforce data quality, normalization, and reconciliation rules.
  • Implement Service Mapping to align application services with infrastructure and dependencies.
  • Optimize Event Management to reduce noise and improve incident correlation.
  • Develop scripts and flows (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer) to automate data, workflows, and integrations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot MID Servers to ensure secure, reliable discovery across networks.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise tools via REST/SOAP/APIs.
  • Document architecture and runbooks to support operations and CMDB governance.

6+ years of ServiceNow development experience (ITOM/CMDB focus).

 

 

 

Hands‑on with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB.

 

 

 

Deep knowledge of CMDB design, CI relationships, reconciliation/normalization; strong CSDM and lifecycle/governance.

 

 

 

Strong scripting: JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer.

 

 

 

MID Server configuration and troubleshooting experience.

 

 

 

Integration experience using REST/SOAP/APIs; cloud integration with AWS/Azure/GCP.

 

 

 

Nice‑to‑Have: ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator).

 

 

 

Nice‑to‑Have: ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer).

 

 

 

Nice‑to‑Have: ServiceNow CIS – ITOM Discovery/CMDB. (Preferred)
