Position: Software Developer – ERP / Case Management

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in ERP and Case Management systems to join a collaborative, agile team. This role focuses on delivering complex digital solutions across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a strong emphasis on PeopleSoft HCM systems and Oracle-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a self-directed, multi-disciplinary agile team including solution designers, developers, and IT professionals.
  


• Deliver technical solutions across all phases of the SDLC: design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  


• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
  


• Build and support large-scale ERP solutions (particularly PeopleSoft HCM) to enhance business processes and automate workflows.
  


• Continuously explore and apply emerging technologies and best practices to improve digital solution delivery.
  

Qualifications & Skills

PeopleSoft HCM Knowledge & Integration (30%)

• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM functionality and configurations.
  


• Experience with key modules such as:
  




• Absence Management
  


• Time & Labour
  


• Benefits and Payroll
  




• Familiarity with PeopleSoft security, workflow, and integration tools including:
  




• PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)
  


• Change Assistant
  


• Data Mover
  

PeopleSoft Development & Tools Expertise (30%)

• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft development tools, including:
  




• Application Designer
  


• PeopleCode
  


• Application Engine
  


• Component Interface
  


• Integration Broker
  


• SQR
  


• BI Publisher
  




• Experience with Fluid UI development:
  




• Navigation, tiles, dashboards
  


• Activity Guides
  


• Role-based security
  




• Ability to enhance existing systems or develop new solutions
  


• Experience with Linux scripting is an asset
  

Oracle Database Knowledge (10%)

• Knowledge of Oracle database systems and application database administration
  

Testing & Technical Support (15%)

• Experience with unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  


• Ability to document and walk through technical specifications and test results
  

Analytical & Interpersonal Skills (15%)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  


• Ability to work effectively with team members, analysts, and stakeholders
  

Must-Have Skills

• Deep expertise in PeopleSoft development tools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, etc.)
  


• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and role-based security
  

Highly Preferred

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules: Absence Management, Time & Labour, Benefits, Payroll
  


• Familiarity with PeopleSoft integration and administration tools (PUM, Change Assistant, Data Mover)
