Software Development Engineer in Test

TECIE is looking for Software Development Engineer in Test for our client in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Its head-office is located at Delta, BC.

About the Role

The role is about taking full responsibility for the test automation pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Write test automation in order to quickly validate functionality and identify issues
  


• Work to streamline CI/CD processes to ensure rapid delivery of a quality product into the hands of our users
  


• Juggle multiple projects knowing how to frequently and incrementally ship products
  

Requirements

• Have a solid understanding of engineering best practices
  


• 4+ years of experience with writing test automation scripts and continuous integration pipelines
  


• Experience building automation infrastructure from the ground up
  


• Automation experience using various tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, JMeter, Chai, Casper, RSpec, Cypress, Puppeteer etc
  


• Deep understanding of CI systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI.
  


• Demonstrated programming skills in C#, Java, Python, Javascript or other languages
  


• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes
  


• A love of learning and teaching, being both a mentor and mentee
  


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
