Solution Architect - Payment System Integration

• Assess and analyze business and technical requirements in order to provide estimates on activities/tasks and establish detailed plans and timelines.
  


• Identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints that could impede any deliverables.
  


• Design, code (when required), and test for functions of low to medium complexity.
  


• Write unit test plans and provide coordination and support of testing.
  


• Support Development, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing activities.
  


• Create, update and contribute to critical documentation relevant to the projects (SRS, TDD, Test Plans, Implementation Plans, etc.) as well as security and architecture requirements as defined by each project
  


• Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, various IT partners and 3rd party vendors.
  


• Provide estimates on activities/tasks required to perform design, coding and unit testing, improving accuracy over time.
  

Requirements

Must-have:

• Minimum 4-5 year of experience in a high pressure multi-technology environment supporting multiple applications.
  


• Good knowledge of UNIX system administration/support and application development (Java, UNIX scripting)
  


• Familiarity with application security setup and programing (TLS, IPsec, HTTPS & Firewall)
  


• Good understanding of multi-tiered Enterprise Application (MQ , Kafka, Elastic search, WAS ND, Oracle & any “high availability and fault tolerance” environment setup and supporting)
  


• Understanding of DevOps pipeline and cloud-based services
  


• Fiserv product experience
  

Nice-to-have:

• The desire to learn the wire payments business and the functionality of the applications you would be supporting
  


• Experience with cloud technology
  


• Familiar with Agile methodologies
