Job Description - Sr Product Manager - Clinical Workflow

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Product Manager understands clinical context deeply, owns end-to-end imaging workflow (acquisition → interpretation → downstream action), and has accountability for measurable business outcomes. The Senior Product Manager owns problem definition and value hypothesis, and partners with downstream marketing for commercialization. This role is not about shipping isolated features. It is about owning and optimizing how clinicians move from imaging data to clinical decisions—across radiology, cardiology, oncology, and surgical workflows.

This role operates in a complex global environment with distributed development teams, competing regional priorities, and shared ownership across stakeholders. Success requires navigating tradeoffs, aligning diverse perspectives, and driving decisions without direct authority.

Success in this role is measured by one outcome: We give minutes back to clinicians—at scale—and convert that into measurable business impact.

  • Define and evolve the full imaging workflow, including: Study ingestion, preparation, and protocoling; Image review, visualization, and quantification; Clinical decision support; Structured reporting and communication of results; and Integration into downstream workflows (cath lab, oncology, surgery)

  • Define how Vitrea integrates within the broader healthcare ecosystem, including PACS, EMR, AI platforms, and interventional systems, ensuring seamless end-to-end workflows.

  • Work directly with clinicians to identify high-value workflow problems, validate unmet needs across specialties, and translate clinical context into product direction

  • Drive product decisions that contribute to revenue growth (new sales + installed base expansion), increased attachment and utilization, and maintenance retention through delivered value

  • Drive prioritization based on measurable workflow impact and business outcomes, making clear tradeoffs across competing initiatives.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or equivalent experience required (Master’s Degree preferred)

  • Minimum of 8 years Product Management experience required, with demonstrated ownership of complex product areas or workflows

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the healthcare informatics

  • Strong preference for candidates with direct clinical experience (e.g., radiology technologist, cardiac cath lab nurse, imaging specialist)

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in product design, particularly in designing complex workflows, user experiences, or clinical systems

  • Experience working directly with clinical users

  • Results oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently

JOB COMPETENCIES

  • Communication - Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.

  • Results Focused - Targets and achieves results, sets challenging goals, prioritizes tasks, overcomes obstacles, accepts accountability, sets team standards and responsibilities, provides leadership/motivation.

  • Strategic Thinking/Management - Creates and communicates a long-term vision, balances short and long-term goals, keeps own and team's work aligned with overall goals, understands the market and can predict change, understands the industry and the competition, creates and adjusts strategic plans.

  • Vision and Values - Supports values and daily actions and decisions, communicates vision and values to others, generates enthusiasm, incorporates vision when planning.

This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.  Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
