About The Position:

This position oversees all yard operations. This involves assisting customers, maintaining yard conditions throughout the year, basic vehicle maintenance, obtaining quotes and scheduling professional vehicle services, managing the delivery schedule, and collaborating with yard staff to accomplish goals set by the yard supervisor, lumber supervisor, or home center manager. The Senior Yard/Delivery Supervisor will implement safe work practices and ensure equipment is in safe working order. Responsibilities also include locating/tagging, organizing, loading, and delivering materials efficiently and safely. Additionally, the supervisor must be willing to acquire their Class 3 license to assist with as needed. 

What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service


• Supervise a team responsible for deliveries


• Assist customers in locating and loading materials in our yard


• Organize, prepare, and load deliveries promptly


• Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule


• Maintain safe work conditions in the yard and at delivery sites


• Operate forklifts and delivery trucks
