Role Overview


The Supervisor (Loss Prevention, Facilities & Cash Office) is responsible for protecting company assets, ensuring operational excellence in retail environments, and maintaining strong financial controls.


This role oversees loss prevention strategies, facilities management at Rennaï, and cash office operations in order to support a safe, compliant, and high-performing store network.


This position reports to the Sr. Director, Sales & Operations and works closely with store teams, operations, finance, and HR to ensure consistent application of policies, risk management, and operational integrity across all points of sale.


Key Responsibilities


Loss Prevention & Risk Management



  • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to reduce shrink and mitigate risks.

  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, incident reports, and trends to identify root causes and corrective actions.

  • Conduct in-store audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.

  • Lead internal investigations related to theft, fraud, or policy violations.

  • Train store teams on shrink prevention, fraud awareness, and security protocols.

  • Collaborate with HR on disciplinary matters related to investigations.

  • Maintain rigorous documentation of incidents and findings.


Retail Facilities Supervision



  • Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of stores to ensure safe and high-end environments.

  • Manage vendors (repairs, maintenance, cleaning, security systems).

  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and urgent interventions.

  • Support store openings, renovations, and closures from a facilities perspective.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor facilities budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities.


Cash Office & Financial Controls



  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure strict adherence to internal controls.

  • Audit store cash reconciliations, deposits, discrepancies, and reports.

  • Investigate cash variances and implement corrective measures.

  • Maintain and enhance SOPs related to cash management and financial accountability.

  • Train store teams on best practices for cash security and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate with Finance on audits and compliance initiatives.


Leadership, Collaboration & Team Management



  • Manage, coach, and engage the team under their responsibility, including workforce planning, resource optimization, and ensuring appropriate coverage based on operational needs.

  • Ensure ongoing coaching, skills development, and performance evaluation while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.

  • Act as a trusted partner to store teams on matters related to risk, compliance, and operational integrity.

  • Provide coaching and training on operational standards and loss prevention.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, HR, and IT teams.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead special projects related to risk management and operational excellence.


Skills and Experience you will need



  • 3–5+ years of experience in loss prevention, retail operations, or facilities management.

  • Strong understanding of retail controls, investigations, and audit processes.

  • Experience supervising cash office operations and financial compliance.

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and facilities management best practices.

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Loss Prevention certification is required for this role.

  • Proficiency in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV and alarm systems.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
