We are looking for a Technical Advisor to support our Chief Information Officer Branch. The Technical Advisor would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
We are looking for a Technical Advisor that brings an enthusiasm for building solutions that are forward thinking with considerations for re-use, maintainability and extensibility. The incumbent is someone to provide expert advice, research, analysis, development and design of applications and related strategies. This includes client-facing portals and DevOps processes, plus key activities:
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University.
A Technical College diploma in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and direct experience may be considered.

**Extensive is defined as 7 years or more
Reliability Status
For a Reliability Status, verification of background information over a period of 5 years is required.
Candidates will be assessed on the basis of the following criteria:
*Solid – a solid working level knowledge is required. The level of knowledge is used by fully qualified individuals to solve day-to-day problems and address normal issues.
**Advanced – in-depth knowledge (detailed and focused) &/or broad (extensive) knowledge of the subject area. The knowledge is used to solve new problems and/or issues.
