Test Bed Operator

We are looking for a Test Bed Operator to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The Test Bed Operator is responsible for performing load testing on below-the-hook lifting gear, rigging, and fall arrest equipment to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with applicable provincial and federal regulations.

Principle Responsibilities

• Performs testing on below the hook lifting gear, rigging gear


• Completes testing on inspected items neatly and accurately


• Assist in other departments as needed such as rigging and warehouse duties


• Maintains paperwork and records of used inventory for billing and certification purposes


• Maintains company equipment used on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  
  

Required knowledge and training

• High school diploma or equivalent


• No previous experience required (all training will be provided)


• Mechanical skill is an asset


• Knows how to use tools


• Be able to work in different types of weather climates


• Able to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level


• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable


• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
