We are currently seeking someone who is eager to learn, committed to having a safe and healthy workplace and to ensuring the delivery of quality products for the position of Warehouse/General Labour in our Stoney Creek, ON Branch.

Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy

This job is responsible for banding bundles of steel products at the end of the cut-to-length alcos machine and operating a gantry crane. Training will be provided.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe procedures are followed while performing job responsibilities


• Complying with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)


• Running a Gantry Crane


• Banding bundles of steel at the end of the Alcos Cut-to-length machine.

Requirements

• Able to work shift work


• Able to perform some heavy lifting


• Good communication skills


• Self-motivated, results oriented.
