About Us

McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.

Position and Responsibilities

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:

• Issue materials from mill and outside storage warehouse.


• Off-load incoming general freight and prepare/load material for off-site shipping.


• Maintain stock records and file on manual and computerized systems.


• Other duties as required.

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 90 days.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

• grade 12 diploma or equivalent;


• valid class 5 driver’s license;


• experience with computers and computer software (Microsoft Office);


• night shift and underground work as required; and


• work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Assets:

• direct warehouse experience;


• forklift and loader operator certification;


• SAP experience; and


• previous training in first aid; WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.

Conditions of Employment:

• pre-employment substance test.
