Steele Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Saint John is seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our team!

As our Warranty Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the service department with administration relating to internal work orders and warranty claims. Working closely with our service team, you will report to the Service Manager and have an opportunity to learn about the automotive service industry firsthand.

Wage: $20.20-$22.50 hourly 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Processing internal repair orders for the sales department.


• Supporting the administrative process for warranty claims.


• Ensuring that paperwork for repair orders flows through the shop in an orderly and productive manner.


• Flag selected Repair Orders for Shop Foreman to inspect for quality workmanship.


• Coordinating special order parts requirements with Parts Department.


• Customer follow-up, including scheduling and confirming appointments as required.


• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive service is considered an asset but not required


• 1 year experience in an administrative role


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Excellent customer service skills


• Computer proficiency
