Job Description - Web Experience Manager


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Web Experience Manager based in Canada.


The Web Experience Manager will own and evolve a critical digital experience, shaping how prospects, customers, and partners interact with a growing technology brand.
This role combines digital strategy, user experience, web development, design, and performance optimization to create impactful online journeys.
You will manage the website end-to-end, from concept and design through launch, optimization, and continuous improvement.
The position offers the opportunity to influence brand presence, demand generation, discoverability, and conversion through data-driven experimentation.
You will collaborate with marketing, product, creative, and leadership teams in a remote-first environment focused on innovation and ownership.

Accountabilities:


The Web Experience Manager will be responsible for owning the strategy, execution, and optimization of the website experience while ensuring it supports business growth, user needs, and brand objectives.



  • Own the website experience end-to-end, ensuring all pages, features, forms, and interactions deliver a high-quality, intuitive, and engaging user experience.

  • Lead web projects from initial concept through launch, including requirements gathering, wireframing, design collaboration, development coordination, approvals, publishing, and post-launch optimization.

  • Create and improve digital experiences such as campaign landing pages, product pages, customer stories, partner experiences, resource hubs, and interactive tools.

  • Manage and evolve the CMS environment by developing scalable content models, reusable components, publishing workflows, and governance practices.

  • Build and maintain a modular web design system and component library to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Partner with marketing, product, creative, and operations teams to align website initiatives with business goals and customer journeys.

  • Monitor and improve website performance, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, SEO, AEO, analytics tracking, browser compatibility, and overall user experience.

  • Collaborate with marketing operations teams to ensure accurate forms, analytics, tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement.

  • Use AI-powered development tools and emerging technologies to accelerate web production, automate workflows, and improve delivery quality.

  • Drive continuous website optimization through analytics, experimentation, heatmaps, user behaviour insights, and conversion-focused improvements.

  • Champion technical excellence and proactively identify opportunities to improve website reliability, speed, discoverability, and scalability.


Requirements:


The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on digital professional with strong web experience, design skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for creating high-performing digital experiences.



  • 5+ years of experience managing websites or digital experiences, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Experience managing modern CMS platforms, with experience using Sanity CMS considered an asset.

  • Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), information architecture, and conversion-focused experiences.

  • Strong visual design skills with excellent attention to layout, typography, hierarchy, and interaction design.

  • Experience creating web mockups and prototypes using tools such as Figma and collaborating with creative teams.

  • Experience building responsive websites using modern front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

  • Understanding of modern CMS architecture, website development workflows, and digital experience platforms.

  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve productivity.

  • Knowledge of SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), website architecture, structured data, semantic markup, and technical web best practices.

  • Experience using analytics platforms, experimentation tools, heatmaps, and user behaviour insights to optimize performance.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from strategy through execution.

  • Builder mindset with strong ownership, curiosity, and ability to thrive in an evolving environment.

  • Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application to digital experiences and workflow automation.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, collaborative environment.
