Wellhead Packing Replacement Crew

Location: Bonnyville and Cold Lake, AB

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round (Outdoor work)

Role Overview

Comec Energy Services is seeking experienced local wellhead servicing personnel to join their growing team. This is a permanent, local position based out of the Bonnyville and Cold Lake area. They are looking for safety-conscious, hardworking individuals who have hands-on experience with various wellheads and are comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform day-to-day maintenance and replacement of wellhead stuffing boxes in accordance with company procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Install and maintain lube boxes.

  
  


• 
  

  Work safely under Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) when required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all equipment is properly isolated, depressurized, and maintained before starting work.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify faults, troubleshoot equipment, and promptly report findings to site supervision.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site (excellent housekeeping practices).

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere strictly to Comec’s safety regulations and Core Values.

  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• 
  

  Valid Driver’s License (Mandatory).

  
  


• 
  

  Valid CSO, First Aid, H2S Alive, and WHMIS Certifications.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working under SCBA conditions, with prior well servicing experience considered a strong asset.

  
  


• 
  

  Fall Protection and Confined Space certifications are considered assets.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test and a medical fit-for-work exam.

  
  


• 
  

  Physically fit and able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions.
