We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting the OCS design team to meet on-time design submission goals

  • Developing Basic and Detailed design documents under your scope

  • Providing support on OCS topics to System Engineering and BIM teams

  • Respecting Engineering Management, Design Quality, and Interface Management plans

  • Ensuring compliance with normative references and local standards

  • Coordinating with stakeholders across locations (Toronto, France, Italy) and departments

  • Undertaking 3D modelling activities to support OCS design development

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, or Civil Engineering

  • Knowledge of Canadian standards and common practices

  • First understanding of Railway Electrification subsystems

  • Familiarity with AutoDesk software and other modelling tools

  • A desire to pursue a Professional Engineer designation (desirable)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities

  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset

  • Fluency in English (a second language is appreciated)

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
