Job Summary
The Conveyor Belt Attendant is responsible for a variety of tasks within and possibly outside the warehouse. This role’s primary function is to perform the tasks required to Splice/fabricate belts. These tasks include splicing, cutting, and gluing. This role is also responsible for maintaining safety conditions within the warehouse, reporting any injuries, communicating, and coordinating with other staff, and moving/counting inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with warehouse order fulfillment, including the accurate measuring and cutting of conveyor belts.
Perform and/or assist with warehouse organization, cleaning, and maintenance as directed
Perform tasks required to manufacture belts; these tasks include punching, splicing, cutting, gluing, and measuring.
Assisting with heavy-duty conveyor belt installation & vulcanization
Storing inventory accordingly within the warehouse.
Performing other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking.
Shipping & receiving (loading and unloading inventory)
Warehouse Clean-up/housekeeping
Accurately complete appropriate paperwork
Working in a safe manner and participating in safety initiatives
Qualifications
General mechanical aptitude
Skills such as rigging, cutting, splicing, etc. an asset.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
Experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.
Forklift operation experience is nice to have.
the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another person
