Financial Reporting Intern - 2026 Four Seasons Corporate Summer Internship

Department Overview:

Financial Reporting department is responsible for month/quarter end closing, consolidation, financial statements preparation as well as accounting issues analysis.

Role Summary:

This role will report directly to the Director, Financial Reporting and work with the Financial Reporting team supporting both core financial reporting tasks and department projects. This role will have both independent and teamwork-based tasks. Key responsibilities will include:

• Month/quarter end journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Month/quarter end closing consolidation process for local entities.
• Month/quarter end financial reporting package preparation.
• IFRS 15 revenue accounting analysis memos and summary.
• Statutory and regional audits.
• Other ad-hoc accounting research and analysis.
• Transformation project work, as required.

Key Activities:

Month/Quarter End

• Assist with month/quarter end journal entries and consolidation process.
• Assist with account reconciliation.
• Prepare month/quarter end financial reporting package.

Routine and Ad-hoc Accounting Analysis

• Prepare IFRS 15 revenue accounting memos and summary.
• Assist with ad-hoc accounting issue research and analysis.
• Transformation project work, as required.

Statutory and Regional Audits

• Assist with providing supporting documents to auditors for statutory and regional audits.
• Assist with project management.

What You Bring/Key Skills:

• Previous internship or corporate work experience is a plus, but not required.
• Proficient in Word, Advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables)
• Good understanding of accounting journal entries, consolidation, and financial statements
• Experience in a corporate office environment is highly desired
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, take initiative and use good judgment.
• Able to work effectively in rapidly changing or ambiguous situations.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• A strong team player.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Student Experience:

• University student currently enrolled in an undergraduate Finance or Accounting program.
• Active participation and/or leadership in student organizations is a plus.

Projected Start Date: May 4, 2026

Projected End Date: August 28, 2026

Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $25.00 CAD (depending on year of study)

All roles will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
