Summer 2026 - Communications Intern, ONE Regional Office

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and communications savvy summer intern to support internal and external communications for RBC Regional Banking in Ottawa. 

What will you do?

• Develop communications strategies to support initiatives and projects.
• Plan and implement tactics for internal communications and employee engagement.
• Provide strategic communications advice to internal clients.
• Write and edit copy for storytelling on internal or external communications channels including for social media.
• Create visuals and videos including design, recording and editing.
• Support community investment team on various projects and logistics.

What do you need to succeed?

:

• Knowledge of communications principles for both internal and external audiences.
• Critical thinking.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of social media platforms.
• Good understanding of creative design and video production.
• Organization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Nice to have:

• Ability to write in both French and English
