About us

The Commercial Excellence team creates the frameworks, tools, insights and processes that enable KMD's commercial organization to achieve its goals. The team drives the development of the commercial operating model and works across strategy, sales performance, customer insights, system enablement, compliance and contract management to ensure effective commercial execution and sustainable growth. You will join a Commercial Excellence team of 14 colleagues as well as a team of student assistants.

About the job

As Commercial Excellence Manager, you will play a key role in driving and enabling KMD's commercial transformation agenda. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and lead key initiatives from scoping through implementation. Working at the intersection of strategy, commercial development and execution, you will collaborate closely with commercial leaders and stakeholders across the organization to create structure, momentum and measurable progress on strategic priorities.

Task / Responsibilities in the job:

• Drive and enable the commercial transformation agenda by translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and execution plans.


• Lead key commercial excellence and transformation initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and problem definition through analysis, stakeholder alignment, implementation and follow-up.


• Support commercial leaders in developing, refining and executing commercial strategies and priorities.


• Drive strategic and analytical work focused on growth, customer development and commercial performance, turning insights into concrete recommendations and actions.


• Establish clear governance, milestones, ownership and reporting for strategic initiatives to ensure progress and accountability.


• Prepare high-quality presentations, decision material and management updates that enable effective decision-making.


• Help continuously develop KMD’s commercial operating model, ensuring that commercial excellence best practices are reflected in our frameworks, tools and ways of working.

About you

We are looking for a commercially minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy and execution. You thrive in a role with high visibility and broad stakeholder interaction, where you are expected to create clarity, challenge thinking and move important commercial priorities forward.

Requirements:

• Relevant Master’s degree, e.g. in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategy or a related field.


• 4-7 years of experience from management consulting, a strategy or commercial excellence team, or a similar commercially focused role.


• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations and actions.


• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, combined with excellent communication capabilities.


• Proven ability to drive strategic and commercial initiatives from scoping through implementation.


• Proactive, independent and execution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.


• A collaborative colleague who builds strong relationships and works effectively across functions and seniority levels.


• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English.
