Job Description - CSM/Safety specialist

CSM-RA/Safety specialist
Lyngby/Aarhus/Odense/Vejle
Permanent

Do you want to organize, handle and document the safety and security processes for our projects? Can you communicate and convey complex safety issues and information within the field of safety and security hereunder CSM-RA? So join us and leave your fingerprint on future development with us!

Drive processes that ensure a safer and more resilient tomorrow

As a CSM/Safety Specialist, you will primarily be involved in railway safety projects, but we also work with safety- and risk-related assignments beyond the rail domain. You will join a professionalsafety and security team where knowledge sharing, professional sparring, and collegial support are highly valued. We work with risk management processes across a broad range of domains, including assessment (as ASBO) CSM-RA, operational safety, functional safety, contingency analysis, project risk and organisational resilience in relation to CER and NIS2. The team operates at the intersection of technical disciplines, regulation and practical implementation, ensuring that safety and risk considerations are consistently integrated into projects.

As our new CSM/Safety Specialist, you will first and foremost take independent lead responsibility for CSM-RA processes, acting as the link between disciplines and projects. You will ensure clear communication across teams, prepare documentation, define systems, facilitate hazard workshops, and gather input from relevant experts.

On day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Primarily working with CSM-RA and railway safety management, supporting projects through the risk assessment and approval process.

  • Assisting in obtaining and structuring safety-related input from planners and technical disciplines and prepare associated safety documentation.

  • Facilitating and contributing to hazard identification workshops and safety dialogues across disciplines.

  • Coordinating safety activities with independent assessors and relevant authorities to support project approvals.

  • Contributing to the continuous development of CSM-RA competences and best practices within the team.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises.

On top of that, you will have:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience with the CSM-RA process.

  • Good communication skills in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

  • A good interdisciplinary understanding
