Data Engineer

Faerch is looking for a Data Engineer to join the company’s ERP Program Organization, where you will play a key role in ensuring data migration, data quality, and data governance across Faerch’s global ERP implementation.

Faerch is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of circular food packaging, supplying solutions to food producers, retailers, and food service customers across Europe and the United States. Owned by A.P. Moller Holding, the company is currently undergoing a large-scale global ERP transformation, implementing Infor M3 Cloud Edition across the organization.

About the Role

As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing the migration of data from existing ERP systems into Faerch’s new global ERP platform.

The role is operational and hands-on, and you will work closely with Business Process Owners, local project teams, and external implementation partners. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of data migration methods, processes, and standards across the organization.

This position can either be based in Holstebro, Denmark, or in other European countries close to a Faerch production site.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate master data and transactional data
  




• Operate and maintain data migration tools
  




• Perform data collection, cleansing, and validation activities
  




• Prepare data mappings and migration documentation
  




• Coordinate migration activities across multiple sites
  




• Support testing, go-live activities, and opening balance migrations
  




• Contribute to improving data quality and migration methodologies
  

Your Profile

We imagine that you:

• Have experience with data migration in ERP environments
  




• Have worked with both master data and transactional data
  




• Have experience with data quality, mapping, and validation processes
  




• Have experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Infor M3, or similar systems
  




• Work in a structured and methodical manner
  




• Thrive in international and cross-functional environments
  




• Communicate fluently in English
