Position Overview:

team.blue is looking for a skilled Datacenter Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The team's primary responsibility is the operation and design of our 5 datacenters — that is, running our virtualisation, storage and network platforms. The team's most important task is to deliver a reliable platform for our end customers and partners.

Together with the team's two other Datacenter Engineers, you will be responsible for the physical part of the delivery to our customers, as well as the daily operation of all equipment. This includes, for example:

• Installing and decommissioning physical equipment

• Baselining servers (firmware updates)

• Building new datacenters and improving existing ones

• RMA tasks (typically on servers)

In addition, there will be tasks such as inventory management of new and spare equipment.

Naturally, we will make sure you get a proper introduction to the work — partly through your 18 talented colleagues in the team, and by giving you the best possible conditions for staying up to date with new knowledge in your field.

About you:

We expect you to have an IT-related education, or to have been tinkering with IT on your own for several years. How much hands-on experience you have is not that important to us. What matters most to us is that you:

• Have a sense of order and a flair for organising things systematically

• Are open to learning new things, but also enjoy routine tasks

• Are interested in learning about physical servers (and everything that comes with it)

• Have a high level of service and care about quality and finish

• Work proactively and take pride in finding faults before they have business impact

• Can manage your own working day and thrive with freedom under responsibility

• Speak and write Danish and have a good command of English

To take on this position, a category B driving licence (passenger car) is a requirement. We provide a company van.

About the team:

You will become an important part of our Infrastructure team. The team consists of 18 highly specialised employees whom you can always turn to for help and sparring on your tasks.

The team is characterised by a strong sense of responsibility — we always keep our agreements and deadlines. We help each other make sure we deliver. We love to learn and acquire new knowledge, so that we stay ahead of the technologies. We set the bar high in our work, so that we always arrive at the right — and best — solutions. Our solutions have been analysed, and we always base our decisions on what the data tells us.

What we offer:

We are one of Denmark's leading hosting and cloud providers for small and medium-sized businesses. Our 190 employees love a fast pace, and even though we are growing rapidly, we haven't forgotten what we are passionate about — delivering the best solutions to our more than 250,000 customers.

In addition, we offer:

• A secure working environment with a great deal of freedom

• Professional sparring with some of the best people in the field

• Opportunities for further education and relevant courses/certifications (in recent years this has included DellEMC Technologies World in Las Vegas)

• A fantastic canteen with breakfast, lunch and exceptionally good coffee

• Plenty of social events and staff trips — as well as discount schemes and employee benefits such as fitness and massage

Place of work: team.blue A/S, Højvangen 4, 8660 Skanderborg, Denmark
Start date: As soon as possible

Right to Work

At any stage, please be prepared to provide proof of eligibility to work in the country you’re applying for. Unfortunately, we can't support relocation packages or visa sponsorship.

Arbejdssted: team.blue A/S, Højvangen 4, 8660 Skanderborg.

Tiltrædelse: Hurtigst muligt.
