Director, Strategic Finance Business Partner, Supply Chain - Aarhus

Join us in a highly influential senior leadership role where you will act as the key financial sparring partner to the Group Vice President of Supply Chain Global Transformation & Excellence (GTE) and lead a high performing finance team spanning GTE’s strategic agenda.

How you will make an impact

In this senior leadership role, you will act as the Strategic Finance Business Partner to the Group Vice President of Supply Chain GTE and the GTE Leadership Team, driving financial value creation and provide sharp insights. You will ensure a strong financial challenger role and enable high-quality, fact-based decision-making across the entire GTE organization.

You will lead a high-performing, cross functional finance team of four and play a central role in shaping the strategic agenda across E2E Planning, Production & Logistics Excellence, Sustainability, Digitalization, network strategy, and securing synergies and financial management of the DMK integration within supply chain.

Your responsibility will be:

• Strengthen the link between operational and financial performance, ensuring sites focus on activities that truly drive value and improve supply chain Productivity.


• Secure strong financial and operational steer of our supply chain sustainability efforts supporting the delivery of our sustainability ambitions


• Challenge and elevate GTE’s strategic agenda by identifying and prioritizing the organization’s biggest value drivers. Deep dive into strategic decisions and challenge business cases to secure well-founded choices.


• Steer, track and integrate the financial elements of the DMK merger, setting a clear financial direction for a successful integration.


• Ensure an aligned, action-oriented performance dialogue across annual, monthly, weekly and daily reviews, bringing consistency across Arla, Supply Chain, Markets and Sites.

The role sits in Supply Chain Finance and reports to the Vice President of SC Finance. The role will be located at the Arla Foods head office in Viby Aarhus. And a physical presence in the head office will be required.

What will make you successful?

You will thrive in this role if you bring experience from complex, fastmoving environments where senior level stakeholder management, structure and analytical thinking are core parts of your toolbox. Clearly with a solid background within strategic finance and performance management.

You may come from a global organization with a complex matrix setup, a leading strategy/consulting house, or a business leadership role where you are used to working closely with executive management. You combine strategic perspectives with hands-on execution and approach challenges with curiosity, courage, and care - comfortable with constructively challenging assumptions and informing our strategic direction.

Your leadership strengths include creating clarity, direction, and influence diverse stakeholders in a complex environment. Lastly, you have an analytical mindset, proven business acumen, and focus on impact.

Key requirements:

• Master's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar.


• Proven track record (typically 10+ years) from global, complex organizations, ideally with exposure to manufacturing or supply chain.


• Strong leadership capabilities – able to navigate and influence across many different areas and stakeholders.


• Robust and confident profile who challenge assumptions and quality in decisions.


• Analytical mindset with strong business and strategic understanding – able to see patterns, connect dots and recommend the right solutions.


• Experience from ‑financial, operational, or strategic transformation programs.
