Demant Enterprise A/S in Ballerup is our Center of Excellence regarding automated production using the latest surface mount technologies (SMT).

New amplifier designs are frequently released (e.g. for Oticon’s latest hearing aids) and consequently new production equipment and technologies are necessary.

Therefore, we seek an Electronics Engineer to join our team. The team is responsible for developing core technology test solutions, which can be implemented at our micro-SMT production at Demant.

The Job
You will be a part of a team of eight Electronics- and Software Engineers that work with high flexibility as part of a large organization. Our focus is on developing better, faster and more robust production test systems. 

Your primary tasks will be:

• Developing and implementing and maintaining production machines for electrical tests of our new amplifiers.


• Support development of software test interfaces and measurement systems.


• Support our main production support team as an expert and give support to the production test systems.


• Implementing new versions of our main software tools in collaboration with the software team by specifying, implementing, trail running and giving feedback to the developers.


• Analyzing production data set in WATS to define the production flow and performance.


• Conducting hardware reviews. 


• Participate in various projects both New Product Introductions (NPI) early stage but also various business projects representing hardware perspective.


• Maintenance of hardware test systems.

You can expect to work with a wide variety. From tasks like creating PCB layouts to planning and testing new test setups with R&D for our new developed products, up to planning, creating and building complete new Production test setups will be a part for the Electronics Engineers tasks and challenges.

You will communicate and cooperate with a lot of different people. Mainly internal colleagues from Ballerup side and Headquarters, but also colleagues from other Demant locations like production in Stettin, Poland as external partners can be a part weekly communication.

Your experience

We are looking for an Electronics Specialist, Electronics Engineer, or Electronics Technician. If you do not have one of the mentioned degrees, we expect that you have a relevant education or knowledge – e.g. engineering with focus on production-hardware, electronics and automation.

The tasks will require that you have worked in production environments and have experience with the following systems: analogue circuits, digital circuits, LF and HF measurement and preferably amplifier circuitry.

It is important that you have an open and positive mindset and are flexible to change direction when new projects come in and needs us to shift direction.

You have good cooperation skills to use in your daily work with colleagues in the team. You can prioritize between different tasks to reach your own and our common goals. You have an analytic and structured approach to your work methods - with attention to details.

In an international environment as we have it is important that you are fluent in English writing and speaking.
