We are looking for an Enterprise Business Architect who can bring structure, strategic direction, and enterprise-wide alignment to one of DSV’s most transformative digital initiatives. You will help translate business strategy into scalable operating models, governance structures, and coordinated delivery execution across the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).

The role requires a strong ability to translate strategic intent into actionable transformation initiatives, target operating models, and delivery roadmaps while ensuring that business capabilities, governance structures, and technology decisions evolve in alignment with EDP’s long-term ambitions.
You are comfortable operating across both business and technology domains, navigating complexity, and creating clarity across stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Anchored in Global IT, Enterprise Business Development focuses on some of the most transformative digital initiatives in DSV, enabling the company to operate as one digital enterprise by connecting data, intelligence, and workflows across divisions, systems, customers, and geographies. 
In this role, you will work closely with domain leadership, architects, product owners, and delivery organizations to ensure alignment across business capabilities, data domains, governance models, and delivery roadmaps. You will play a key role in supporting EDP’s ambition to establish a modern, scalable, and data-driven enterprise architecture built on Data Mesh principles while ensuring tangible business value is continuously realized through delivery.

Deliver Enterprise-Wide Impact 

You bring a strong enterprise mindset and are able to drive alignment across functions, challenge siloed thinking, and establish scalable structures that support long-term transformation.

More specifically, you will:

• Translate business strategy and operating model ambitions into actionable transformation initiatives, roadmaps, and delivery plans


• Align business architecture, enterprise architecture, information architecture, and delivery execution across EDP initiatives


• Support the implementation of Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, federated governance, and data product thinking


• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making across business, architecture, product, and engineering stakeholders


• Identify business, process, system, and data dependencies across domains and ensure they are reflected in planning and governance


• Support initiative scoping, problem framing, requirement shaping, and business capability mapping


• Translate business needs into structured epics, capabilities, features, and implementation workstreams


• Challenge siloed decisions and drive enterprise-wide thinking across processes, systems, and data domains


• Support prioritization and delivery decisions based on business value, strategic alignment, dependencies, risk, and implementation feasibility


• Drive visibility across overlapping initiatives, capabilities, and solutions to reduce duplication and improve organizational alignment


• Collaborate with architects, Squad Leads, analysts, and delivery teams to maintain alignment between roadmap, architecture, and implementation

Experienced Enterprise Business Architect with Global Expertise

You understand how to bridge executive-level strategy with operational delivery and how to ensure that enterprise architecture, data architecture, domain ownership, and implementation activities remain connected throughout the transformation journey. 

To succeed in this demanding role, you bring:

• Strong experience working within enterprise-scale transformation programs, data platforms, or digital transformation initiatives, with exposure to C-suite levels


• Experience working with Data Mesh principles and domain-oriented operating models


• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, business architecture, information architecture, and data governance concepts


• Experience translating business strategy into executable roadmaps, delivery initiatives, and measurable outcomes


• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across both business and technology organizations


• Experience working with agile delivery models, product-oriented organizations, and cross-functional teams


• Strong analytical and problem-framing capabilities within complex enterprise environments


• Understanding of modern data platforms, distributed ownership models, metadata management, and enterprise integration patterns


• Ability to identify organizational dependencies, delivery risks, and cross-functional impacts across large initiatives


• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex business and technical topics for different audiences


• Ability to navigate ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and evolving organizational structures


• Experience from logistics, transport, supply chain, or similarly complex global organizations is considered a strong advantage
