In this role, you will work at a global level, engaging with senior decision-makers, leading complex sales opportunities, and helping shape the future growth of DSV’s Healthcare business.

Your responsibilities and impact


As Global Business Development Director, Healthcare, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the global healthcare market. Working closely with regional sales teams, key account managers, solution design experts, and operational stakeholders, you will help accelerate DSV’s growth within the Healthcare vertical.


 


Your key responsibilities include:



  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, and secure new healthcare business opportunities globally.

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with prospective and existing healthcare customers across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare sectors.

  • Lead strategic sales opportunities from initial customer engagement through solution development, contract negotiations, and successful implementation.

  • Drive healthcare-focused RFQs and solution development processes in collaboration with Sales, Solution Design, and operational teams.

  • Contribute to the execution of DSV’s Healthcare growth strategy by supporting long-term commercial development and market expansion initiatives.


 


What we are looking for


We are seeking an experienced healthcare business development professional who combines strong commercial capabilities with industry knowledge and a customer-centric mindset.


 


To succeed in this role, you likely bring:



  • 10+ years of experience within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, and/or logistics industry.

  • A proven track record of developing, securing, and winning new business opportunities within the Healthcare sector.

  • An established industry network and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.

  • Strong experience within Contract Logistics, warehousing, supply chain solutions, and complex customer engagements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
