Global QEHS Specialist, Arla Foods Ingredients - Aarhus

Do you want a central role in maintaining and developing our feed and Kosher certifications to ensure robust compliance across the organization? Then this is your opportunity to join Arla Foods Ingredients’ global QEHS department in a role where you will own and drive our GMP+ certification at AFI headquarters and support Kosher certifications across all relevant Arla sites.

As Global QEHS Specialist in this area, you will collaborate closely with regulatory, commercial, production sites, certification bodies and many other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliant processes and efficient internal and external audits. Your work in this position is absolutely key for AFI to be able to continuously deliver complaint products.

How you will make an impact

You will translate certification requirements into clear procedures and processes, align ways of working across stakeholders, and secure timely audits and certifications. You will be part of the global QEHS organization, working with more than 30 experienced quality colleagues across three teams. You will join the SQM&C team, consisting of 10 colleagues responsible for supplier quality management and compliance. The team will provide professional sparring and support—and a positive, can-do atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own, maintain and develop AFI’s GMP+ certification at headquarters including internal and external audit activities.


• Coordinate and support Kosher audits and post audit activities across Arla sites


• Support Kosher approval of changes to raw materials, production facilities and processes


• Act as primary point of contact to certification bodies for GMP+ and Kosher


• Act as global subject matter expert on GMP+ and Kosher requirements


• Develop and deliver training and communication on GMP+ and Kosher requirements

More specifically, we imagine you have:

• A degree in Food Science, Engineering, or similar.


•  5+ years of experience within quality/compliance in the food or ingredients industry, preferably in a global setting.


• Demonstrated experience with owning and maintaining certifications preferably GMP+ and/or Kosher


• Solid audit experience (planning, execution, CAPA)


• Experience translating standards into procedures and processes


• Strong stakeholder skills and ability to collaborate cross functional in a multi-cultural and multi religious setting


• Experience managing relationships with certification bodies is an advantage.
