Job Description - IT Feasibility Specialist - SPOC (Single Point of Contact) - Aarhus

Are you passionate about bridging business needs with IT and automation solutions? Do you thrive in a role where coordination, stakeholder management and early project shaping are key to success?

“In this role, you will be the central entry point for all IT and automation related feasibility activities in capital investment projects across our global production footprint. You will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are set up for success by securing the right information, alignment and structure before feasibility work begins,” says Janne Skjelborg Østergaard.

How you will make an impact

As IT Feasibility SPOC, you will act as the primary interface between the business and the IT feasibility team. You will manage all incoming dialogue related to capital investments involving IT and automation, many of which are process automation projects focused on PLC programming or end-of-line solutions requiring system integration from shop floor equipment to SAP. Furthermore, your key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the Single Point of Contact for IT and automation feasibility, coordinating stakeholders across Danish, European and international dairies, IT and Supply Chain.

  • Collecting and consolidating information on new capital investment projects for the IT and automation scope.

  • Facilitating early alignment on standard IT and automation solutions.

  • Driving the initial feasibility intake, including surveys and collection of technical documentation (e.g. PI diagrams, process flows and existing IT/automation material).

  • Presenting projects to the IT Feasibility team and supporting assignment.

  • Maintaining feasibility epics and project overviews in Azure DevOps.

  • Conducting your own feasibility studies on selected projects through early project phases (exploration, development and handover for project execution).

  • Contributing to continuous improvement by developing and maintaining feasibility templates (e.g. budget estimates, feasibility reports and User Requirement Specifications).

What will make you successful

You have a background in production automation or engineering, with an engineering degree in Electrical Energy Technology or Electronics, or AP Graduate in Automation Engineering with hands-on experience in  production environments. You enjoy working at the intersection of business, technology and governance and are motivated by creating clarity and structure in early project phases. We expect the ideal candidate to bring:

  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across organisational levels

  • The ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented way and handle multiple projects in parallel

  • A solid understanding of IT and automation in a production or industrial environment

  • Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • The ability to work independently while contributing actively to a collaborative team

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

What do we offer?

You will join a highly skilled and motivated team of Feasibility Experts, architects, consultants and project managers, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to the way we work. Alongside your core SPOC responsibilities, you will help shape and further develop the IT feasibility process across Supply Chain Digital Production in one of the world’s largest dairy cooperatives.

The role offers high visibility and impact, flexibility in where you work, opportunities to influence ways of working, and the chance to contribute to future-proof and innovative production solutions in a collaborative and social environment.

Would you like to join us?

If you want to help shape the industry, then seize this exciting opportunity. Please apply as soon as possible, as we will process applications on a continuous basis and close the recruitment once the right candidate is found.
