We bring justice to travellers!Flyhjælp is looking for Danish-speaking case workers to work with litigation and enforcement (retssager). We are looking for a full-time colleague to start January 1st. Flyhjælp is a highly specialized debt-collection agency who helps air passengers collect their claims for compensation and refund from the airlines according to EU Regulation 261/2004.
We specialize in the Nordic jurisdictions under our brands:

… and we have our very own litigation department that handles cases in the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish courts. We take cases all the way to the Supreme court or the European Court of Justice if necessary.
We have an ambition to be the best and biggest in the Nordics on air passenger rights.
Flyhjælp is not a law firm, we are a legal tech and legal dev looking for qualified and enthusiastic colleagues to join our litigation department, who:- want to work with lawsuits and the courts.
- have an interest or maybe a background in law – maybe you are a law student.
- have strong analytical and written skills, and emotional intelligence.
- speak and write at least one of the Nordic languages at a native or professional level – we are currently looking for Danish speaking colleagues.
- speak and write English.

In the litigation department, you will gain insight into legal method and civil procedure, learn about evidence theory and to write short and precise texts. You will become an expert on air passenger rights according to EU Regulation 261/2004, and you can get to have oral court hearings in person, via phone or via video.
Our core tasks include:- Preparation of pleadings in court cases.
- Settlement negotiations with the airlines.
- Contact with air passengers about what they have experienced.
- Contact with the courts regarding our cases.
- Assessing whether verdicts should be appealed and making appeals.
- Contact with external partners, including external law firms.
In the litigation department you will also work with optimizing our work processes for example by investigating and implementing new technologies that can help us.
Furthermore, the litigation department handles the enforcement of our verdicts via the enforcement courts.The litigation department currently consists of 16 colleagues, who work full-time or
part-time and who come from legal and non-legal backgrounds.
We are based in Copenhagen, but we are a Nordic and international workplace with colleagues from all over who speak English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Russian, Serbian, German and many more languages. Our company language is English and through our parent company, Flightright, we have colleagues located in Berlin, Budapest and Kyiv as well.
