P&O Specialist - Temporary Position (12 months)

Are you experienced within payroll, HR administration, and employment law, and do you enjoy being the go-to person for day-to-day HR operations? We are looking for a structured and service-minded P&O Specialist to join our team in a 12-month temporary position, with the possibility of extension. 

As some of our colleagues in the P&O team will be heavily involved in implementing a new HR system, we need an experienced colleague who can help ensure that our daily HR operations continue to run smoothly. 

You will join our P&O Operations team and work closely with your colleagues on a broad range of administrative HR tasks. The team currently consists of six employees incl a student, and you will report directly to the P&O Director for Operations, Rewards & Legal. 

The role 

Together with a colleague, you will be the go-to person for our daily and annual deliverables within HR administration, payroll processes, onboarding/offboarding, and general employee support. 

Your tasks will include: 

• Driving our payroll processes, including preparing and submitting payroll data to our external payroll provider 

• Handling general HR administration related to current employees and new hires 

• Preparing and administering employment contracts, addendums, and other employment-related documents 

• Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes 

• Managing absence registration, including handling matters related to holiday, parental leave, and other leave types 

• Maintaining and updating employee data in our HR IT systems 

• Acting as liaison with external providers, including payroll and pension partners 

• Responding to day-to-day questions from employees and managers 

• Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks and helping ensure high quality in our HR processes 

In addition, you will collaborate with the P&O Operations team on optimising current processes where relevant. 

Your profile 

We are looking for a colleague with solid experience within HR administration who can quickly become a trusted support in our daily operations. 

We imagine that you have: 

• At least five years of experience from a role such as HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Consultant, Payroll Specialist, or a similar position within HR operations 

• Hands-on experience with payroll-related tasks 

• Strong experience with general HR administration 

• Good knowledge of employment law, particularly within areas such as parental leave, holiday, and employment contracts 

• A relevant educational background within Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar 

• Experience working in a professional, international, and diverse environment 

• A good understanding of HR IT systems 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with many different stakeholders across organisational levels 

• Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

The position is based on 37 hours per week, but we are open to some flexibility if you are looking for reduced working hours.
