Solvexis is looking for a Risk Manager / Risk Specialist to support projects with structured, methodical risk management across the full project lifecycle.
The role covers both proactive risk identification and mitigation during design and planning (e.g. HAZID / HAZOP) and systematic investigation and learning from incidents and undesired events (e.g. Tripod, TapRooT).
You will work closely with engineering, project management, construction, HSE, and operations to ensure risks are identified early, understood correctly, and managed in a way that reduces both safety and business impact.
Plan, facilitate, and document risk workshops during design and planning phases, including HAZID and HAZOP.
Support projects in identifying technical, operational, and organizational risks and translating them into practical mitigation measures.
Ensure risk registers are established, maintained, and actively used as decision\-making tools.
Lead or support incident and near\-miss investigations using recognized methodologies such as Tripod and/or TapRooT.
Analyze root causes, contributing factors, and systemic weaknesses â not just immediate failures.
Translate investigation outcomes into clear, actionable corrective and preventive actions.
Support implementation and follow\-up of risk\-reducing measures across disciplines and project phases.
Advise project and line management on risk exposure, trends, and lessons learned.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Solvexisâ risk management and investigation practices.
Experience working with risk management, HSE, or operational safety in complex project or industrial environments.
Practical experience with HAZID and/or HAZOP in design or planning contexts.
Experience with incident investigation methodologies such as Tripod and/or TapRooT.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see both technical and organizational root causes.
Structured, methodical, and comfortable facilitating workshops and interviews.
Able to challenge assumptions and ask the difficult questions â constructively and fact\-based.
Clear communicator, capable of translating risk analysis into practical actions.
Fluent in English; Danish is an advantage.
A broad, cross\-disciplinary risk role with influence across multiple project phases.
Opportunity to work both proactively and reactively with risk at a high professional level.
Strong collaboration with technical, project, and HSE specialists.
Competitive package and professional development opportunities.
