Runner - Soho House Copenhagen

As a Runner, you’ll play an important part in keeping service running smoothly and creating a great experience for our members and guests. Working closely with our waiters, kitchen and wider floor team, you’ll make sure food and drinks reach the right tables quickly, accurately and with care. You’ll spend plenty of time on the floor, so being attentive and able to read the room is important. Whether you’re running food, supporting a busy section or spotting where a colleague needs an extra hand, you’ll help create the warm, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that Soho House is known for.

This is an active role that involves spending extended periods on your feet and regularly moving around the House. As hospitality happens when our members are here, you’ll also need flexibility to work evenings, late nights and weekends.

Only candidates that are currently residing in Copenhagen or moving here very soon will be taken into consideration. We do not offer relocation for this role.

What you'll be doing...

• Deliver food and drinks to members and guests efficiently and accurately.


• Support waiters and the wider floor team throughout service.


• Communicate closely with the kitchen and floor teams to help maintain a smooth flow of service.


• Keep service stations and restaurant areas organised, clean and ready for service.


• Develop your knowledge of our food, drinks and service standards.


• Follow food safety, allergy, hygiene and health & safety procedures.


• Recognise where support is needed and help colleagues during busy periods


• Contribute to a welcoming and positive experience for members, guests and colleagues


• Checking bathrooms and back of house areas regularly


• Assist in moving furniture and preparing for events

Who you are...
You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and develop their hospitality experience.

• Reliable and punctual


• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Attentive and willing to support where needed.


• Interested in hospitality, food and drink


• Comfortable with the physical requirements of an active role


• Available to work a combination of evenings, late nights and weekends.


• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.
