About the role

We're expanding into Denmark — and we're looking for the person to lead the way.

Mynt is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial and hands-on Team Leader – Sales & Business Development to become our very first hire in Denmark and build our commercial presence in the market from the ground up.

This is a true founder-type role. There is no existing local team yet — you'll start by rolling up your sleeves and selling Mynt yourself: prospecting, pitching, and closing deals to prove out the Danish market. As traction builds, you'll take on responsibility for growing and leading your own team, hiring and onboarding the colleagues who will help scale Mynt's presence across Denmark.

You'll work closely with colleagues at our HQ in Stockholm while having full ownership of how we build and shape our Danish operations — from go-to-market approach to team culture. A co-working office space in Copenhagen will be available to you, but how you want to work day-to-day is yours to decide. It's a rare opportunity to combine hands-on sales execution with real leadership responsibility, and to leave a lasting mark on how Mynt grows in a brand-new market.

What you'll be up to

In the early phase:

• Drive the full sales cycle yourself, from prospecting and outreach to negotiation, closing, and relationship management.

• Proactively identify and win new business in the Danish market through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn.

• Engage with C-level executives in consultative sales dialogues that create real value for customers.

• Act as Mynt's face and trusted ambassador in Denmark, building market knowledge and early customer relationships.

As you grow the team:

• Hire, onboard, coach and develop the Danish sales team to ensure high performance and engagement.

• Build a strong, positive and ambitious team culture from scratch.

• Take full ownership of commercial results and strategy for the Danish market.

What you bring to the table

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably within fintech, SaaS or financial services in the Danish market.

• A genuine entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable being a market's first hire and building something from zero.

• Previous experience in a team lead or managerial role with personnel responsibility, or a strong desire and readiness to grow into one.

• Strong customer orientation and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• A creative, driven and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to build trust and drive business discussions at C-level.

• Experience from a startup or scale-up environment, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving setting.

• Fluent in Danish and English, Swedish is a plus.
