Senior AI Engineer for The Tech Collective

We're looking for a senior AI engineer with hands-on experience in generative AI, API integrations, and advanced agent-based applications. The ideal candidate brings a mix of full-stack, AI, and cloud engineering experience.

 

What you'll do

This role cuts across multiple tech stacks and is a central part of how we deliver AI solutions for our clients.

In this role, you'll:

• Translating early ideas into working prototypes and iterating them into production-ready solutions using modern full-stack frameworks
• Designing and deploying generative AI applications and autonomous agents using LLM APIs and established agent frameworks
• Integrating AI capabilities into client systems and managing deployment pipelines in cloud environments
• Collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to build solutions that address real needs
• Mentoring junior engineers and keeping pace with emerging AI and software engineering paradigms
  
   

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone with at least five years of software development experience, including at least two in generative AI and agent-based applications, and a master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Beyond that, you'll bring:

• Full-stack capability across TypeScript (React, Next.js, Vite) and Python, with experience shipping production systems
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, Agno, or DSPy
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
   

Relevant AI or cloud certifications are a plus. English is our corporate language; however, proficiency in one or more additional languages is a plus for this role.
