Senior Business Analyst, Accounting

At Netcompany Banking Services, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong understanding of accounting and banking operations, who can translate business needs and data into robust solutions within accounting and management reporting.

We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations, mobile and internet banking, payments, investment management, risk management, compliance, and open banking.

Responsibilities and technologies

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a central role in accounting and management reporting across our banking customers. You will work closely with both business stakeholders and development teams to ensure stable solutions, while also contributing to the continued evolution of platforms that provide critical insights into bank operations and data foundations.

Your responsibilites will typically include:

• Driving dialogue and collaboration with bank customers and internal stakeholders within the accounting domain.
• Analysing business needs and translating them into concrete requirements and solutions in close collaboration with development teams.
• Taking functional ownership of systems and processes related to accounting and financial reporting.
• Ensuring that solutions and workflows comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of solutions that enable banks to gain better insight into their business performance and data.

About you

To succeed in this role, you:

• Have 4–5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Have experience with accounting, financial reporting, or financial operations, preferably from the banking or financial sector.
• Hold a master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration (e.g., M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration or equivalent).
• Are strong in stakeholder management and able to prioritize and balance requirements across multiple stakeholders.
• Have an interest in data analysis and preferably experience with SQL or similar tools.
• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must.
